relational.technology gathers and shares technologies of relating. A relational technology is any structure that helps people relate better, whether to themselves, to each other, to what they hold in common, or to the future.
We are building toward The London School of Relational Technologies, a semi-residential institution for inventing new ways of relating. It will run fellowships, residencies, courses, retreats and gatherings. The school does not exist yet. This site is part of the search for the people and resources that will bring it into being.
The field guide is a growing catalogue of relational technologies: the methods, organisations, events, people and media that help us relate better. A technology, here, is any structure that enables new patterns of connection. It need not be digital. Anyone can suggest an entry, and nothing appears until the team has reviewed it.
Being listed in the field guide is not an endorsement. The guide describes what exists and how entries relate to one another. It does not vouch for any of them. Where our own view matters, we say so in the entry, and we are careful about what belongs in the guide at all.
If something is wrong or misrepresented, or you would like your work corrected or removed, please write to us. We make corrections and removals.
